Fresh water scarcity limits population growth, inhibits economic prosperity and lowers quality of life in a large number of areas of the world. Geographic limitations and weather conditions significantly impact water availability. Major investment is taking place in generating fresh water, including desalination, condensation, and cleaning technologies. Still, when it comes to water management, many problems remain due to the global complexities that exist and are yet to be uncovered. Yet, robust AI tools and solutions aren’t currently available to improve decision-making, policy-making or guide investment choices.
